GoMentor was created by education and technology professionals who understand how innovation impacts individuals and communities, especially in the face of uncertainty. It is our goal to ensure that each youth services provider seeking to safely connect their volunteer mentors, staff, and students will be empowered with the tools to achieve that end.

Our History

In the summer of 2020, concerned educators and programmers joined forces to help school-based mentoring and tutoring programs craft customized solutions to meet the needs of their diverse student populations.  The growing number of "what-ifs" surrounding the COVID-19 crisis and return to school, required a fresh approach to the question: "How do we innovate and leverage technology to keep students and their mentors connected and safe?"  As they faced a school year unlike any other, the GoMentor team set out to develop scalable solutions which could be rapidly deployed to organizations requiring technical assistance.
